In this video I will be showing you how to design with Artboards in Photoshop. This is one of the newer features added to Photoshop, but if you are familiar with Adobe Illustrator (or if you have watched our Adobe Illustrator Basics Videos) then you may find that there are some similarities between the two as this feature has been a part of Illustrator for quite some time.
Artboards allow you to work on multiple canvases in various sizes, all in one document. This can be very useful and efficient if you are building a campaign or a set of ads. In addition to showing you how they work, I will give you some tips on how to use Artboards to streamline your workflow and save you time by implementing Smart Objects. Lastly, we will be taking a look at how we can do a batch export to save all of the Artboards at the same time to a destination folder of your choice.
