An in depth, step-by-step course that shows you how to create a unique visual brand identity

Are You Tired of Creating Logos
That Miss The Mark?

Maybe you are designing in a box without thinking about how or where your logos will appear.

I know first hand how difficult and frustrating this can be. There have been so many times I struggled to come up with a decent logo, and I had no idea how to improve my work. I can't even count the number of crappy logos and concepts that have been tossed into my trash bin as I worked tirelessly to come up with that perfect solution.

Even when I finally began to improve my technical skills working in programs like Adobe Illustrator, it still felt like something was missing.

We spend our days talking… communicating verbally, but most people don’t have nearly as much practice communicating visually.

In a perfect world, you want your logo design to match up with the business it is created for, but without cohesive branding, it will miss the mark every time.

The full scope of branding extends far beyond a logo. Your visual identity needs to:

  • communicate a specific idea or message
  • present a unique point of view
  • resonate with your audience
  • tell a story
  • be consistent across the board

In school they may teach you about color and typography, or even how to use certain design software, but they won't teach you any of this. I have never seen a program that teaches you how to develop unique and memorable logos, and how to turn them into a complete visual brand. Until now...

You can stop banging your head against the wall from frustration and learn from the mistakes I have already made that have helped me get where I am.

I have been working in the field for over 10 years, and there is one thing that most of these hugely successful companies have in common - strong and consistent branding.

Since I started Teach Me To Design, one of the things people ask for the most is a tutorial on how to create a logo. While I have done some videos on this topic already, I am here to tell you that a logo without a brand is like a car without tires — it's not going to go very far. That's because having a logo is simply not enough.

My experience in the industry has helped me to develop a creative process that I have applied to every logo or branding project I have been given, and now I am going to give that to you. It's time to start thinking about the BIG picture and designing the right way so that you can turn your ideas into real solutions.

What if I told you there was a better way?

What if  you were able to start attracting more clients
with your personal and business branding?...

What if there was a way for you to not only create better logos,
but be able to earn money doing it?...

How to use your new style guide in advertisements and promotional materials

Create a rule book (style guide) that supports your brand message and helps you maintain consistency across the board

For some reason, you don’t learn these things in design school...but you will learn them in Brand U:

How to make kick ass logos - specifically, I will take you through my fine-tuned approach and artistic process for creating a logo from start to finish

Advanced Adobe Illustrator Techniques to create better logos that will help you attract more clients

Learn the major differences between a logo and a brand, and WHY
visual branding is important to you and your clients/customers

Questions you should ask yourself and clients while developing a
visual brand identity experience in the industry has taught me that it’s not enough to JUST have a logo.

It has taken me years to develop this process

As a newer designer, I remember how daunting it was to try and create logos for myself and friends, let alone for clients. The process I learned in school felt a bit out of touch and the training was incomplete (not to mention pricey.)

If I did come up with an idea, either I couldn’t pull it off or I spent so much time on one concept that it kept me from seeing that there may be a better visual solution.

Over the past 10 years, I have worked with companies like MLB, WWE, Oxygen, and Nickelodeon working as an Art Director and Graphic Designer. My experience at those companies gave me the insight I needed to help me craft my own design process. It also stressed the importance of a strong visual brand

My course will show you how to create a visual brand identity that will help you develop trust and recognition with your audience.

Thank you so much for making this video. It is so comprehensive that I learned more in this one tutorial than the hundreds I’ve watched. Thank you so much.

My professor played your video in our class. I’m re-watching it now because I’m having a difficult time coming up with an idea for a composition due on Monday. Thanks for the great video! Thought you would be pleased
that my professor also thought it was really good, so much so that
he used it in our class.
